Cause for celebration

In a podcast a professor at Regent made the statement regarding worship and how the Church needs to learn to celebrate: “we don’t celebrate the fact even though we might have had a bad day, this is the worst we’ll ever be. That this is the furthest we’ll ever be away from God. That this is the closest we’ll ever be to hell.”

What do you celebrate?

    okay, I guess I’ll start.

I celebrate the opportunities God has blessed me with through education. I volunteer at Denton High School on Tuesday’s as a teacher’s aid for an adult ESL class. The people are parents of students that want to learn English. Most of them are from Mexico, but there are a few from other countries (one lady was from Albania) — I can now see there is a very distinct line drawn between those who are educated and those who are not in this country. I am truly blessed to be educated.

I celebrate my health and well-being. Too often we (I) take for granted that God has kept me healthy for all of my life.
